You've chosen a beautiful wedding car so let’s make it a feature
Choosing an elegant, or quirky wedding car to provide transportation for your big day is a stylish and fun addition not just to the day, but also your photo album. Here are 5 great ways to include your wedding car into big day photography.
Entering or Exiting
A picture featuring the husband, bride, or both in the doorway of the vehicle can be a great way to show excitement for the ceremony, or the beginning of their new life together.
Inside
This picture can feature just the happy couple, or include the bridesmaids and groomsmen. You could maybe have passengers waving out the back window, like they would do when leaving the ceremony, or possibly popping some champagne. This also the perfect opportunity to show off the interior of your ride for the day.
Beside the wedding car
A picture along the side of the wedding car is perfect for large group shots. The long side of the vehicle is ideal as anyone included, from groomsmen to family members, can fit alongside. Taking the picture from an angle along the side is also a great way to add perspective to the picture, and take advantage of the reflections glinting off the paint.
In front of the hood
The front of the wedding car is great for individual photos, or pictures of the couple. Newly-weds can lean against it casually, or simply pose in front of it. You could even lean against the front corner of the car, with the shot being taken from an angle, adding depth and perspective to the whole image.
The sunroof or open-top
This photo opportunity is a classic. It’s great for pictures of small groups, or portraits of the couple. This picture could be taken close-up to capture the fun of the moment, or from further back to show off the vehicle. This shot would make a fun and light-hearted addition to an album.
